MY Voice, our project to address forced and child labor in the palm oil and garment industries in Malaysia, initiated an exciting partnership with Ramatex Textiles Industrial Sdn Bhd, a leading influencer in the Malaysian textile industry. Together, MY Voice and Ramatex are developing a two-year action plan to advance workers rights.
Last month, MY Voice led a training on social compliance systems for the management team of Ramatex. The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants at Ramatex have bolstered our collaborative efforts to shape a more sustainable and ethical garment industry in Malaysia.
